It’s no secret that we love sweets around here, especially cupcakes!\u00a0 McCanless and I whip up a batch of cupcakes or muffins\u00a0almost<\/em> weekly! (To give away, of course.) \u00a0The cupcakes we made last night were worthy of a post.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I found a website tutorial on how to make cute piglet cupcakes with strawberry icing and big, pink marshmallows.\u00a0 Those would have been super cute IF I had strawberries and IF I had big, pink marshmallows. Which we did not, \u00a0so we improvised with what we did have:\u00a0 Halloween M&M’s, food coloring and fruit roll-ups.\u00a0 McCanless actually came up with the idea for the ears.\u00a0 I thought they turned out pretty cute! \u00a0(Even cuter than the fancy marshmallow cupcakes online!) \u00a0AND McCanless did them all by herself.\u00a0 Mostly.<\/em><\/p>\n

FYI\u00a0 Ms. Susie, McCanless’ teacher, loves pigs and McCanless’ classroom is filled with piggy paraphernalia. Hence, the piggy cupcakes for her class.<\/p>\n
