Everything is starting fresh.\u00a0 New.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I&#8217;m always the first to rise, taking Emmie out for a little walk around the yard.\u00a0 Summer mornings, I\u00a0 spend waving to neighbors as they jog by or hustle to work.\u00a0 In cooler months, I bundle up and sit on the porch and watch the Canadian geese dance, while I enjoy my coffee.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During week one of treatment, nothing is as it should be.\u00a0 Even my taste buds turn on me.\u00a0 My mornings with Emmie on the porch aren&#8217;t quite as enjoyable.\u00a0 In fact, I skip the coffee all together.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Today, I enjoyed my coffee on the porch with Emmie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Today, I know that this time is evanescent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This morning I enjoyed my coffee.
