{"id":7266,"date":"2011-11-19T19:32:28","date_gmt":"2011-11-20T00:32:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.babypennington.com\/?p=7266"},"modified":"2011-11-20T22:20:15","modified_gmt":"2011-11-21T03:20:15","slug":"beefalo-and-such","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.babypennington.com\/?p=7266","title":{"rendered":"Beefalo and sunshine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I love age four and Mary Clare is in it&#8217;s prime.\u00a0 She&#8217;s at a point where she is completely confident in herself and her vocabulary and I love asking her to tell me stories.\u00a0 Today, for example, she was explaining to me that she wants to be a cooker (chef).\u00a0\u00a0 When I asked what her favorite food is, she, much to my surprise, replied, &#8220;bacon.&#8221;\u00a0 (Totally out of the blue.\u00a0 Never saw that one coming-she&#8217;s practically a vegetarian.)\u00a0 After a conversation about how <em>she<\/em> cooks bacon, I inquired what she would cook McCanless if given an opportunity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Well, duh.\u00a0 Beefalo,&#8221; with a slight roll of her eyes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I nearly choked.\u00a0 I had no idea if she meant Chef Boyardee Beefaroni, <em>which I swear they&#8217;ve only had once in their lives<\/em>, or Buffalo, <em>as in wings maybe<\/em>?\u00a0 which we rarely have.\u00a0 I know I have certainly never cooked Buffalo for them.\u00a0 She may have very well meant beef, <em>as in hamburger<\/em>, but she was certainly confident in her word choice of beefalo and only stared at me completely aggravated, as I tried desperately to stifle my laughter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Today, Nonnie, the girls and I spent a wonderful fall day at Blizzard Branch Cane Syrup farm?
