Tired of having bags under my eyes when I’m not tired.<\/p>\n
Tired of looking sick.<\/p>\n

My skin is yellow.<\/p>\n
My eyelashes have gaps.<\/p>\n
My eyebrows are almost gone.<\/p>\n
When I catch a glimpse of myself passing the hallway mirror, or when I see the round shadow of my head in the light on the wall, I’m still surprised.\u00a0 Shocked.\u00a0 A few weeks ago, I met Mel for lunch.\u00a0 I saw him walk in and thought he saw me immediately.\u00a0 When he walked right past me and asked a server where I was, I realized he didn’t recognize me with my “brunette” bob.<\/p>\n
I hate that Mary Clare and McCanless know why I’m bald, understand why I’m bald and are okay with me being bald.<\/p>\n
I’m not okay with being bald.<\/p>\n
I’m so ready for normal.<\/p>\n
I’m so ready to have hair.\u00a0 Eyelashes.\u00a0 Eyebrows.<\/p>\n
