She is always smiling, laughing and &#8220;talking&#8221; to us, and anyone who looks her way. She has 6 teeth and several more about to pop up.<\/p>\n<p>I began teaching again last week and McCanless is staying at a home daycare with 4 other young children.  I&#8217;m teaching part-time, so she is only there from 8-12 everyday, but she loves it.  She really enjoys the other children and is always so excited to see them.  Mel takes her every morning and I pick her up&#8230;it is working out well for all of us.<\/p>\n<p>She hasn&#8217;t started crawling yet, but is very independent and wants to go&#8230;constantly!  (such a busy-body)  She has begun to pull up, and still prefers to be standing or sitting rather than on her belly&#8230;who knows if she will ever crawl?!!<\/p>\n<p>I swear she called out &#8220;ma-ma&#8221; recently, but Mel thinks I&#8217;m crazy.  She still &#8220;sings&#8221; often (which is a high pitched squeel) and laughs at herself when she does so.  Usually she &#8220;sings&#8221; in restaurants, the grocery store and church&#8230;<br \/>\nwhat fun!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>McCanless is so much fun!
