{"id":7944,"date":"2012-03-03T17:29:24","date_gmt":"2012-03-03T22:29:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.babypennington.com\/?p=7944"},"modified":"2012-03-04T20:56:43","modified_gmt":"2012-03-05T01:56:43","slug":"radiation-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.babypennington.com\/?p=7944","title":{"rendered":"Radiation Update&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I met Dr. W last week at SCOA and I couldn&#8217;t be more thrilled.\u00a0 He&#8217;s my Radiation Oncologist and I&#8217;m in love.\u00a0 (You know, in that &#8220;he could be my dad&#8221; sort of way.)\u00a0 My appointment was at 11.\u00a0 I walked into SCOA at 10:50 and was immediately shown to my room (which is opposite of my SCOA norm).\u00a0 Radiation to the left, Chemotherapy to the right.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I&#8217;m heading left, baby!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I was shown a video which explained everything about radiation, what to expect during my visits, and gave me a virtual tour of the types of machines and procedures I&#8217;d be exposed to.
