MUSC

We’re back at MUSC after Mary Clare had yet another seizure yesterday. It was a scary day which began with a couple of ambulance rides, a helicopter ride and ended last night at the MUSC Children’s Atrium bandaging dolls and playing her little half heart out as if it was just a regular day in Charleston!

Today, we have lots of tests and appointments to get to the bottom of her seizures. We are currently waiting to see our little sweetheart as she is awakened from her MRI. She’s such a big girl and has already stolen the hearts of everyone around her with her spunky little personality and witty charm. Such a ham, even under these circumstances!

Daddy did the packing, obviously!

Oh my goodness… that actually hurt my heart to see her being loaded into that helicopter looking so calm with her paci in her mouth. 🙁 Praying for Mary Clare that they can get everything figured out and that it is all okay. (((hugs))) to you mama- how scary for you this must have all been.

Oh my goodness. What a scary nightmare. I just read about your last scare a few days ago and to have to go through that again after being sent home for a “common” event….. yikes! I love the spunky little pictures of her playing in the play room…. I sure hope that she continues to feel well and that this hospital stay will provide some answers….and soon!

Oh no, another seizure??? Oh, bless her little half heart. Hope you can get some answers. I know the “not knowing” has got to be hard. I know the MUSC staff loves Mary Clare and are always happy to see her. She is a little doll baby up and down. And I hope you are able to get some rest, Kerri.

Our little Clare Bear not really knowing “why”-she just goes along with the tests and the sticks and the promises of a trip to Disney World or a toy IF she will be a good little girl and let the doctors to this or that! She is braver than many of us. We should learn a lesson from her. She doesn’t complain, and she’s only 3 and a half!!!
Clare you will get that trip and that “Ariel” dress!!And, as Daddy promised, “shopping at Toys or US”!!! Keep smiling, my brave sweetheart! See you soon,Love, NON

Mimi and Bapa are praying for you and your family. (You have the BEST family!) We can’t wait till you can come stay with us in the mo-tel! We love you “sweet-heart”!
