Poor McCanless! I love it though…she poses and flashes that cute smile even after her long night in the ER and 5 stitches too! Wow…go figure that the first full nights rest you’d get in almost a year something like this would happen. Life. Looks pretty normal to me, Kerri!!! Anyway, I love Mary Clare’s invitation, so cute and kind to give to Annabelle’s baskets. What a wonderful idea. Have a restful day today! Loved reading about your eventful night!
Love,
Katie

Kerri, I have been a regular on Annabelle’s blog and was thinking to myself when I came home how I could donate to “Annabelle’s baskets”. That is sooooo awesome you are doing that at Mary Clare’s party. Anyway, I have loved your blog since before Bose was born… I can’t really remember how I fell upon it (Brandi Wheeler, maybe) but have really enjoyed checking it out and watching McCanless & MC grow. I told Betsy (via blog talk) that your blog has also kept me “in the loop” with Hartsville b/c you are one of the firsts to start one (my sister & mom have yet to create one). So anyway, thanks for sharing and letting us be a part of yours, Mel’s and the girls’ life.

My sympathies to McCanless. Poor girl. When I was about her age, I was walking door to door selling M&M’s (you know, when it was safe to do so! ha ha) and the next door neighbors doberman jumped on the glass door which wasn’t latched and got me in just about the same place McCanless got hurt. Still have the scar to this day! Anyway, I just wanted to celebrate with you on this milestone in Mary Clare’s life. And give you kudos on the “in lieu of gift” idea. That is genious! I have a box going to them shortly full of stuff along with a few donations to get Rebecca started on the baskets for little boys. What a wonderful tribute to Annabelle by doing this for the other heart babies. Our due date is coming nearer and then our journey begins with Lindsay. It is good to view your updates of Mary Clare. Gives me the hope that I need to make it through the day or the week. Please know that even though we have not met, you all hold a special place in our hearts as well and we check in on the site often. Mary Clare’s celebration will be taking place while we are in the middle of our things at U of M so I wanted to send this now rather than later in case I forgot. Happy Birthday Mary Clare!

Please send me e mail at home from now on out. I will not be at school next year. I love you and your hubby and children. Remember that all of you are in my prayers each night. I will not make the party but will donate some money.

This is so thoughtful of you, Kerri! I read Annabelle’s entire blog the other night and cried my eyes out. I plan to donate some money for her baskets. I can’t believe that Mary Clare is already turning one! Wow, time surely flies!!
