This is where my children get it…
There was an article on the front page of the Messenger this week telling the world about what Mel has been up to lately. Being in charge of the Hartsville Christmas parade apparently isn’t enough for him, so this year he takes on erecting a GIGANTIC Christmas tree for the city of Hartsville. All in Mel style, of course…last minute, absolutely no plans. He, however, managed to rope in many excited “volunteer” elves. The parade is on Saturday morning and the Christmas tree lighting is on Saturday night complete with a bright red postal box for Santa letters, sugar cookies and cider. (Mel’s mom has already baked some 600 cookies or so with plans to make more on Saturday!) It is all I can do to keep up with my children and my husband!

Hello! from Connie( Emerson’s Nana). I love to read your web page. It’s always so funny and something exciting happening. I relate to the Mel experience because I’m married to one just like him and have been for almost 36 years!!! There is usually never a dull moment. I don’t know if it’s a compliment, but we have so many friends who love to drop by just for a good laugh!!! I hope all of you have a very merry and blessed holiday season!!! We all have so much to be thankful for!!! I told Erica that I would love for us to ride up to see yal and let the Girls spend some time together during the Holidays. Think about it. Love you all!!! Wow, Kerri!! I don’t know how you keep up with Mel sometimes. Reading this and the article from the paper makes me want to move back to HartsVegas more than ever!!!
